Nancy Shevell's Wedding Dress Designed by Paul McCartney's Daughter Stella McCartney

Getty Images When Heather Mills married Paul McCartney in 2002, his daughter Stella McCartney -- who reportedly loathed her step mum-to-be -- would not even speak to her. Mill's dress -- reputed to be her design -- was made by Caroline Eavis and Annie Brown, who later accused her of not giving them enough publicity for the free gown.our editor recommendsSir Paul McCartney Marries Nancy Shevell in LondonWill Paul McCartney's Bride Marry in Stella McCartney's Dress? But Stella McCartney must like her dad's new love because she designed Nancy Shevell's wedding dress; a classic sleek white long sleeved frock with white (vegan) open toe heels. The couple tied the knot Sunday (Oct 9) at Old Marylebone Hall in London, where McCartney wed his first wife, Linda McCartney, in 1969. McCartney's designing daughter Stella also made his navy blue suit. And a smiling Shevell, 51, and McCartney, 69, were seen smiling in the front row at her Spring 2012 fashion show in Paris last week. McCartney's youngest daughter Beatrice McCartney, 7 - from his second marriage to Mills - was their flower girl. It's probably safe to say that Stella McCartney made her dress as well. Or did Heather make that costume call? We may never know. Guests at the intimate ceremony also included fellow Beatle Ringo Starr and wife, Barbara Bach; Olivia Harrison, widow of George Harrison; and Barbra Walters, who is Shevell's cousin and acted as a matchmaker for the couple. Wait, no Yoko Ono? BTW, Shevell was previous married to attorney and one-time NY Senate candidate Bruce Blakeman. From a lawyer to a Beatle. That's what we called marrying up. Way up. What do you think of Nancy Shevell's dress? Tell us in the comments! Paul McCartney Stella McCartney Heather Mills
