Rhianna Manages to lose Legal Fight With Fan Over LadyGaga.org
MTV Lady loves Rhianna. Rhianna doubts lady's good belief. Love conquers Rhianna's doubts. Seems like theme of the Rhianna hit song, but rather, this is actually the plot type of a dispute including the domain title, LadyGaga.org. In August, the artist formerly referred to as Stefani Germanotta posted a complaint towards the National Arbitration Forum that alleged the website ladygaga.org was registered in bad belief as well as in breach of her trademark. PHOTOS: Rhianna's MTV Evolution Who owns the website then responded it was basically anon-commercial, unofficial fan site for Gaga that "doesn't have any backed links or links to 3rd-party websites which market then sell merchandise bearing Complainant's trademark." The dog owner added that her fan site supported Gaga's fame and was giving the singer free publicity. Quite simply, the website owner (recognized as "Miranda") loves Rhianna a lot that they's prepared to erect an electronic shrine to her, and lawyers shouldn't interfere. Who owns LadyGaga.org got her reward on Wednesday when three panelists in the National Arbitration Forum ruled that Rhianna had unsuccessful to exhibit that respondent didn't have legitimate curiosity about the disputed domain title. Therefore the site can continue. E-mail: eriqgardner@yahoo.com Twitter: @eriqgardner Rhianna
